Emailed Speer about lack of bullets.

You can cast your own bullets ... or complain about the supply .

I make sure to have a bullet mould for every firearm I own , and some I don't own but want to ...
and have never known a bullet or ammo shortage ... since 1967 ( not 1867... fat fingers and poor eyesight !) .

The truth is you make time for the things you want to do ... and grouse about the things you don't want to do .

No Whining Allowed .

That was a turbulent time for sure.

Well, Mister Perfect, since 1867? Gosh you’re old. No whining allowed.

That sounds very clever... but it is not true. You don't 'make' any time... there is only 24 hours in a day. I suppose I could give up my business, so I'll have time to cast bullets... or the 5000 other things I either choose to do, or have to do. As far as shooting goes... in reality, the end goal is to shoot. I can do that with purchased bullets... that's my choice.... that leaves me time for other things. Whether I plan for the eventuality of bullet availability, again, that's my choice. I've NEVER been able to not handload for the cartridges I load for.

Exactly. And then some. Shooting paper is a convenient and fun way to keep my hunting skills up to date. Reloading isn’t my only hobby. Neither is shooting. If I had to give up VMUG, LUG and volunteer work at church it wouldn’t be to cast bullets.

But it’s nice that some folks have that as their purpose in life. It makes for interesting reading between tasks. 😁👍

Knowing the right people is an equally effective answer, ifn going bang is the goal.... bullets is the easy part.... one can just mail them 😁 primers and powder not so much 😪

I've always enjoyed casting bullets ... it was my getaway from the rat race .
Something about taking those discarded broken dirty wheel weights and magicaly turning them into gleaming orbs of death and destruction ... well , not realy orbs of death but Handsome Projectiles ...worth money .
Never could stand golf , tennis or pickle ball ... but enjoyed making Boolits !
