I had read that there is to be a remake of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid - staring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. That surely is another sign of the coming Apocalypse.

Maser and SS...

Do not put "rap" and "music'" in the same sentence. It's an unholy thing to do.
You don't "write" rap, you talk it. Good God...

Dont disparage other's music and they won't disparage yours. Deal? :)

I know quite a bit of really good music wit no words at all! :neener:

I'm not a big MM fan, but acting ability is not related to musical talent. Ice-T has a prety good acting gig going, Will Smith, etc.

M&M - I don't at all care for his persona - I think he's a third rate punk, but as far as his work goes, he's got some cred as a poet, just like the original "True Poets". As Paladin . . . .:barf: :barf: :barf:

Rap as 'music'? I don't think so. It's its own genre. Just like most 'pop 40', 95% of it is crap, gone in two weeks, and of no consequence, artistically. But there is some that has legitimate social and artistic value. But as a honkified, over 50, white suburbanite, I can't really say much except "turn it down . . . " Idon't care to hear anyone's music from three cars away:banghead:

Biker - I hope to get up your way some time after we move west and buy you a cold, frosty one or three.

Some movies are just too good to remake. Butch and Sundance is one. Posidon Adventure is another. Paladin was a far more intellectual show than is created today. Matter of fact, all the old westerns had genuine literary themes with an action backdrop. Today we get action for action's sake.

Why do they have to keep murdering classics with craptastic remakes???
I loved the original series and to me this is another travesty of modern times.
Eminem as Paladin??? What will his card read? " "Have Deagle will travel, wire 8mile trailer park, Detroit, Yo" Eh. Just another movie I won't be seeing.

Hey, I've always liked Eminem on one principle: He irritates the idiot black rappers by showing you don't have to be black to be an idiot rapper. I've always believed in the right to be an utter idiot without regard to race, creed or color. I also believe in Darwinism, hopefully to eliminate said idiots whenever possible. Hell, this could be worse, they could have Kanye West or Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) as a black bounty hunter cleaning up the mean streets of Detroit or L.A. :D :what: Hehehe, I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the mental image of the uproar something like THAT would cause.....

I really enjoyed 8 mile

But I still hate "rap"...I liked the Howard Stern movie too, but I hate his show.
M&M's video's were pretty funny and his stuff is a step above the other dung out there.
But I really hate when entertainers state their political views (except for Ted Nugent of course).

99.9% of entertainers are brain dead in regards to politics...except for the Nuge!

I spent 4 hundred on my car stereo so I can apply sonic warfare against rap thumper cars...I blast Hendrix doing the Star Spangled Banner:evil:
They hate it!

I think M&M is a pretty good actor but I hate that Hwood can not come up with original ideas.

Now marky mark as the character from "point of impact" ..that really stinks.
M&M is a class act compared to that dirtbag
