Most of these were taken with a cheap point and shoot or a cell phone so please excuse the poor photo quality and or massive zoom in via photo edit. :)

I need to get a real camera and some lenses!!

All of these photos were taken by me in north central Colorado in various units on a combination of private and public land. Enjoy.
Great pictures! Magnificent animals and beautiful country.

Is that buck in the middle of picture #2 a 2 x 2? Unless there's a point that I can't see, that has to be a world record forkhorn!

Those big Mule Bucks were on the wrong side of a 3 strand barb wire fence. That is private land. The Big deer always head for these no hunting allowed ranges during hunting season.
Those Bucks have big antlers and high IQs.;)

Great job. If you had come quality camera gear I imagine you'd be getting printed in some outdoor magazines. You've got some great shots.

Don't you know it!!

So if you guys could pick one of those to put on your wall which one would it be?

For me it's the first buck or the third picture and the buck on the right!

I think these two are the same deer. I was looking at both of them and they look WAY too alike to not be the same guy lol.
I thought so too.... but there's 4 muley brothers 7 miles north of my living room that should be the same deer too, papa is the only one who's different. However, I would have no problem with the third picture buck (as h&h pointed out) but then I'd have to move for the salted wounds of all my neighbors.....

Great pictures, I have taken more than my share of whitetails and several mule deer. The mule deer have always had a special place in my heart, perhaps because a big mature buck with decent antlers is so hard to come by. I have 3 mounted trophies and I am more proud of them than the whitetails. My hunting area in Oklahoma has mule deer and I keep turning down young bucks in the hopes for a really good one. One of my friends took a really good buck about 3 miles from where I hunt and sad to say I was really jealous. I get to do the taxidermy work on the buck though, and it will really be fun to see it come to life again.
