anyone have any experience with an erma .22 lever gun? My uncle bought one for his boy and says it wont feed from the tube but everything else works and it shoots great. From what he describes the lifter to raise the shell from the tube works fine but as you start the lever back the lifter drops just a few mm shy of the bolt assembly grabbing the new round. Ive never dealt with these or seen the rifle but advice or links are appreciated

I have one in my "junk/work on some day" pile that I will dig out and inspect. I'll answer back if I can figure anything out for you. By the way, the early Henry lever action 22's were copies of the Erma.

Thanks Kp dont go through too much trouble was just curious if this was a common problem or if these guns were how do i say "lower end" pieces of junk. Rifle looks good and functions super smooth just doesnt feed. Still havent got around to stripping it down.
