Wow...Age-induced belated wisdom.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/1287787.stm

She recently expressed regret at her support for the Viet Cong, saying, "It hurt so many soldiers. It galvanised such hostility. It was the most horrible thing I could possibly have done. It was just thoughtless."

Claiming to "support the troops" while undermining their morale by attacking their cause is both oxymoronic and intellectually dishonest.

Attack the cause all you want, but don't claim to be a friend of the guys on the ground.

Does this mean she supports the troops and our Iraqi policy now?

If not, she's playing the same game.

I saw a picture of her and Kerry not 10 feet apart at some "rally"..

As a former GI, I personally hate the scag. What she did is unforgivable..

There were several POWs that were tortured and killed as a result of her visit.

Kerry's link with her guarantees that I would NEVER vote for the man.

PLUS the fact that on the news just today, I heard him come out against gunowners.

Treason is defined in the U. S. Constitution. It is – as it should be – exceptionally difficult to establish. However, Jane Fonda is a traitor, a felony appropriately punishable by death, by any reasonable delineation. Her “thirty year after the fact†patriotism is as pathetic as it is duplicitous. May she eternally rot in hell.

Ah, Barbarella her film peak!

Likewise, I realized the other night that Susan Sarandon peaked in the Rocky Horror Show.

As a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Viet-Nam war,
I will never ever forgive Hanoi Jane for aiding and abeting
the enemy. My take on her punishment is harsh, and most
likely far different than most viewer's. And here it is: she
should have been placed aboard a "Huey" (UH-1H) often
referred to as a "slick", and flown out into the skies above
the South China Sea, and had her butt kicked out of the
aircraft without a parachute.

She, nor Ramsey Clark deserved to re-enter the good ole'
U.S. of A. And then she had the gall to sit in her seat next
to old hubby Ted Turner like she had done nothing wrong!
Hell NO, I will NEVER forgive her.

Best Wishes,

Too Little Too Late.

She should have been tried for Treason and hung, shot, then beheaded, and then burned to ash and that ash be flushed down a public toilet in the mens room nearest the Vietnam War Memorial.

Yes i will never forgive her, and now we have Kerry following in her footsteps! Maybe they will have some Kerry souviners at the Wall this year, like Hanoi Jane urinal targets, and my favorite Hanoi Jane TOILET paper , havent used it yet. jerryd viet vet 67 & 68.

Back in the old days, we could hang traitors. In the Civil War, the military would court martial and execute. Ahhh, swing low, sweet lariat...

willp58 hit it:

She and kerry will be "brought up" in the next coming months.

She is a traitor Democrat. She want's a traitor Democrat in office, namely kerry, who really hates the military as much as he hates America.

It's called CYA folks. She's covering kerry's butt so the sheeple go, "well, ain't that nice, she really loves the GI's and kerry is a gi so lets vote for him".

All BS!

A swift death from hanging is too good for that skank. :fire: &%#* her and the billionaire Democrats she rides on.

its too bad privileged celebrities get a pass all the time in America......were I a federal prosecutor back when she went to Vietnam, I would have been dying to press charges against her

"Write a considerable check and I'll entertain the notion of forgiveness."

A vet friend of mine on hearing her thoughts...

The check, of course, should be written to some vet-related charity, of course.

Just surfed the photos on this site....
Did not read much but this should add fuel to the fire:

While I'm fully in accord with the sentiments expressed above, the way they're expressed is not at all High Road.

IMO, "No punishment of whatever sort could be too horrible." should be adequate.

Leftist trash who denigrate our Republic make me struggle as a Christian -- it's almost impossible for me not to loathe them. And that's not something we Christians are supposed to do.

Interesting to note that the BBC article quotes her regrets, but there isn't even the hint of an apology. While what she's done can never be fixed by apologies, it would at least indicate that she has fully realized just how horrible what she did really was. This tells me that she still won't fully admit that she was wrong.

FWIW,
