:what:Only if I want the rest of the City to see I own guns and folloe me home. Not even introduce themselves, and come back another time break the door open with a crowbar and take all the guns and jewelry they could find.
No I haven't taken my guns to a car wash ...this really happend to me and all I had done was come home from shooting and unload my truck.:uhoh:

Much safer until SWMBO comes home and finds out what you've done with her brand new appliance. :fire::cuss::mad:

Only did it that one time...

Bath tub. warm water and shampoo. fill it up about 3 inches then i would take the barrels off my guns and drop them in the water. then take out the brushes run some brushes through them then some patches. Then take out my wifes hair dryer and dry them off. Works really good as long as you dont get caught. And ya make sure you air out the house. As the blackpowder smell will stay in that bathroom for a while.

Don't forget to clean the ring from around the tub. My wife gets real 'tiffed' when I don't.:uhoh: You are correct in the lingering smell as well. I've been known to climb in the shower with mine as well. ;)

    No, not a BP gun.

But I have taken cosmoline caked mil-sups to the car wash in pieces!
And M-14's into the shower with me!

BTW: With cosmoline encrustation splatters, it's best to do it after the car wash attendant goes home for the evening. :D
