I've never heard of them (but I'm not from in the area either) but they look fairly good from their web site (authorized dealers for various "names", also lots of high end equip claimed to be in stock, works with various LE agencies, relatively high number of hits on the site, etc). My gut feeling would be to jump on whatever you saw but pay with a credit card so you can dispute it if there is a problem.

Good luck.

That's a good question. I'm 40 miles away in McAllen and they could be 10, 000 miles away as they seem to be nonexistent. I know Rio fairly well and I can't recall a gun shop there. Nor have I ever seen any local advertising. I saw his address once and I think it was on Water Street, which is just a block south of Hwy 83.

I've looked at his prices a lot and have never seen anything which I considered a good buy. If he sells at guns shows, I've never identified him and I'm guessing all his sales are online or online auctions as I've seen him selling a lot at various auction sites.
