Looking for a holster for a 5" 1911 and I came across Dazzling leather holsters. The only reviews I came across is on Amazon and I am not sold on their reviews. Anybody here have any personal experience? They look nice but their leather is a little thinner than other holster makers (read that in a review) so I wonder if they would hold up very well. OTH a local LGS just started carrying 1791 brand holsters but they are about double the price of the Dazzling holsters. Your thoughts would be welcome.
    Thanks in advance

I'm somewhat of a "holster hound", but I've never heard of them and had to look it up. That doesn't mean they aren't good. I don't know.

My .02 on their design is I don't care for the tall sweat shield, especially for a 1911. Watch Gunsite's Ed Head demonstrate the draw stroke in this video beginning about the :35 mark. Note when he gets on the thumb safety. You won't be able to do that with that tall sweat shield on the Dazzling holster.
