I'm also a former federal law-enforcement ranger for the Park Service. I clearly understand how dangerous machine guns and assault rifles are.

sounds like a park ninja to me....:neener:

This sure is stiring up a stack debate. Just because you are former military does not make you an automatic(pun intended) gun lover. Its no real surprise that this made a news article. Media will jump all over a case like this where an x-military guy says I hate guns! They think it has some sort of impact, when in actuality it does not.

Being a former SEAL doesn't mean he knows a damn thing about the constitution of this country.

Yes... inanimate objects are very dangerous. Its not the drunk driver behind the wheel... its the car... right? So they found one moron to play their game. Good for them.

If you care to do the research, you will find that SEAL teams suffered a bit of a QC problem during the mid-late 70's. Something to do with supply and demand as I understand it. . .

"The second tour was when I went over as a combat cameraman-type."

I didn't know Seal teams had cameramen. Learn something new everyday.

Probably somebody posing to be Crumbo or a SEAL. Probably Sarah Brady, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi or Janet Napolitano behind this.

Hey, I am one of the terrorist veterans that Janet Napolitano was talking about and I can say anything I want. What do I have to loose, I have already been branded as a terrorist.

No, It can't be one of them posing as Crumbo, there is not a man in this world as ugly those four women.

    WORLDWIDE HISTORY OF GUN CONFISCATION

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated…

    ——————————

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

    ——————————

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

    ——————————

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

    ——————————

Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

    ——————————

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

    ——————————

Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

I just read this on the frontsight blog, 170,000,000 reasons why I,m keeping mine and teaching my sons to protect the constitution not alter it.
by the way I,m a vet also and have made the acquaintance of very few military elitists who weren't a little tweaked in the head. That's why we don't let them make national policy decisions. the second amendment insures that we are as well armed as our military and far more numerous.

    gimlet1/21,

Thank you for posting this. I have seen a similar list before but it is good to have it here on the board. I think it would make a great sticky.

    Avenger29,

Yes but you're not retired and probably one of the few, if any, that are on this board and probably pro 2A.

Avenger29, that wasn't a shot against you personally, and if you are on this board, that makes you one of the good guys.

However, those of us in Alaska have some long standing differences with your agency and some of the carpetbagging trash that has infiltrated it at the management/policy level.

If it makes you feel any better, I just happen to be a cop that sees some of the perceived cop-bashing that goes on here. But I also accept the fact that not everyone wearing a badge has the highest level of integrity either and sometimes you'll find I'm one of the most critical.

Oh, I understand about the problems. Administrative levels and up are so ridden with corruption, it isn't even funny. We (the regular joes) have to put up with so much crap from higher up...do this, do that...none of which makes a bit of sense.

I got behind a vet on the way to work this a.m. He had Desert Storm Vet decals on the back window, U S Army decals, "I support our Troops" on the tailgate, and then I saw it.
He also had an Obama Biden bumper sticker. Go figure......
