I'm looking to pick up my first rifle and like the Springfield M1A, but would prefer something like a Remington 750 in the 270 Winchester. Would I be able to get a reliable 10 round (or more) magazine for this? If not, is there another model that you all could recommend?
Thanks,
John

With the 750 you're going to have a hard enough time getting the stock four round mag to feed. Trust me. ;) If you want reliable hi cap, hi power auto you really need to look at the various .308 service rifles - Saiga, M1A1, FNFAL, HK91/Cetme, etc. There is no other way. You will make yourself miserable trying to turn a 750 or 7400 into an assault rifle. Been there ... done that. The pump actioned 7600 is generally more reliable but again, the extended cap mags are iffy.

To answer the direct question, yes, 10-rounders are made that fit both the 740/7400/750 series of Remingtons, as well as the 760/7600 pump series of Remingtons. They work for .270, .30-06, .280, etc.
