I just bought my ammo for the season and picked up Winchester 130 gr ballistic tip (~$22 at Cabelas) as well as a box of Remington 130 gr Core lokt- ~ 13$. I've got a new rifle to be sighted in so I'm using the cheap stuff to get it on paper and will zero in and hunt with the ballistic tip. I think you may want to go with a 140gr load in Md unless your looking at shots out 200yds or so. I'm going with the lighter load to hunt in Maine where most shots will be 200 yds or more (at least where I hunt). Never saw anything shot with the BT go very far after being hit. Good luck!
