I have a no lock 442 99% with box/papers. What would be a fair price to ask?

It would sell at retail for $320-380 around here.

In current turmoil it is difficult to address but I would guess $375+/-25 depending on where it ends up. I would think it be more desirable in Blue State like NEW YORK.

New 642's around here sell for $369 (often on sale for $359).

Around here, 642's go for $400+, so 350-375 for slightly used 442 is reasonable to ask, be prepared to be low balled and have a set minimum you'll accept

They go for $400 new so I would guess somewhere near $300 used is fair. BUT, in today's environment who knows what someone might be willing to pay for a slightly used revolver...

I'd believe oneounceload since he also lives in FL. Around here new ones go for $369 average, if you can find one. S&W sells all they can make.

For what it's worth, I bought a 642 about a week after Christmas. I carry that gun as a backup in the front weak side pocket of my jeans in just a cheap Blackhawk pocket holster and I almost forget its there. Or in my strong side pocket if I'm just carrying the 642. It's not too punishing to shoot, though not what I would call comfortable either, but it points well and is plenty accurate at SD distances.
