Ready??? . . .
. . . . . . . NICE!! }
Unfortunately, it's hard to find semi-autos WITHOUT rails these days.
When I wanted a CCW gun smaller than my Browning High Power, I chose a Glock 19, but intentionally sought out a 2nd Generation gun without the rail or finger grooves. They're out there, especially at places like Summit Gun Broker.
I've got three 9x19mm handguns, a Glock 19, a Browning High Power and a Mauser Broomhandle. I've been thinking about some kind of concealment holster for the broomhandle.
My favorites, the four that I have.
Bersa UC 9mm
HK P7M8 bought one new in the 80s still have it, still shoot it. Had more than a few 9mm come and go but this one stayed around the longest. My current favorite 9mm range gun is a Glock 34 with a KKM barrel.
My CZ 2075 Rami conceals nicely in my new fannypac.
I know you mean 9mm Luger, but I think the general consensus is the CZ-82 is a great gun, but it's in 9x18 Mak. Great price on it too.
you can't go wrong with the CZ P07 duty. i held one last weekend and i didn't want to let go. it's niceeeeeeeee!
S&W 469 great old duty piece
1913 DWM Luger - better shooter than the Smith
Beretta 90-two - perfect fit for my hand, still breaking it
Try a Sig P239.
Very nice little single stack 9mm. Adequate DA trigger. SA trigger reset like you wouldn't believe. Don't take my word for it. Ask around.
My nines: Walther P38, S&M MP 9c.
Love the Walther, like the smith and wesson. At least shoot a P99.
1. Glock 17, 19, 26...
2. Beretta 92/ Taurus 92
3. Taurus 27/7 OSS or 24/7 PRO
I was surprised to get all the way through page one with no mention of the Glock. I'd say G19.
CZ-75 or High Power for me.
Well, I had a Hi Power. But sold it after I got my STI Trojan. It's a 9 in the 1911 platform. Much better trigger than any other 9mm I've ever shot.
BHP Standard or Capitan
Beretta 92FS Inox w/stainless controls (there are some new ones out there)
If I could only keep one 9mm, and didn't care about carrying it, Browning Hipower, all the way.
I really like my S&W M&P, HK USP and CZ-75, all in 9mm.
I own a few -- of them, my faves are: P7M8, BHP, 92fs and USP 9. I like each for slightly different reasons but if you're looking for a range gun, give a serious look to the USP.
Of the options you provide, I'd lean towards the 92fs
In my mind the Browning Hi-Power is the ultimate 9mm
I prefer the Sig P226R or the P229R. I am also a fan of Glocks as well but I don't own any now. I plan to buy a Glock 17 soon.
I would suggest that you fire a few different guns and see what works.
92FS unless you going to carry in conceald.
Browning HiPower. Then the S&W 940.
Mine's a Smith&Wesson M&P9c. Just so smooth and accurate.
