I prefer the Vedder light tuck at about 2 o'clock (right above my right pocket) with a forward tilt (called cant), conceals well under a t-shirt. I carry my spare mag clipped to my left pocket with a Neomag.

My current setup, though I've recently added a red dot to the 19 so I'm carrying a different gun until I get it checked out at the range next week.

I never open carry even though my state allows it. Not my thing, I prefer the element of surprise and no one knowing I carry.
The gun that gets the nod for me 95% of the time is my Beretta Nano with night sights and laser. Fits neatly in my pocket and is deadly accurate and pleasant to shoot. In rare occasions I carry something bigger it's a SR9C.

When I carry concealed it is most often in a pocket.

I use a belly belt with a 4 o'clock position myself but I sometimes ankle carry. It's invisible in both. My reason is because I always wear athletic clothes so not much chance of Inside waistband and I figure noone is looking at my feet.

Walther PPS Classic. I simply can’t find a better CCW. And I’ve tried.

My open carry is generally a Browning Citori through the high grass.

I carried a Shield 9mm for a long time but when I bought a Kimber Micro 9 the Shield stays in a drawer now. I really like the Micro 9, thin, light and functions similar to a 1911. Love the 1911 but it is just too large for me to conceal.

Concealed carry is a two part, lcpII for pocket carry in a pj holster, can be carried even in ball shorts around the house.

iwb for leaving the homestead, my Glock 26 in a CYA holster.

open carry means I’m in the woods and carrying a primary hunting weapon (bow, crossbow or long gun) so my super Blackhawk or my 686+ will ride cross draw with potent loads for big furry critters.

I like a 4” tapered barrel N frame in a 45 ACP. Carried about 4:00 on my belt.

what size glove do you wear? I really liked the cm9 for carry but the trigger break was so far back that my hand twisted like hell before the break. Same with the nano. The nano is all I dream of in a carry gun (smooth sides, no slide release, smooth takedown, easy change sights), except that trigger that is terrible for me.

Size large hand. Love the Kahr and Nano Striker fired DAO. They Both fit perfect for me. Also have the New APX Carry grip on one of the Nano's. Both smooth, deliberate, triggers. Triggers do not seem long at all to me, especially shooting fast action. I actually shoot them better than light short triggers. They just have become part of me.
But each person has to find the right gun for themselves. Actually traded a Ruger LC9S in for the Kahr. Trigger was way too light for my preference. Gave me a bad feeling. Sometimes you just have to listen to your gut.

Whenever a to thread like this comes up, I'm amazed by the number of people who carry a Shield and/or LCP still... Even after all the years they've been out and all the new kids on the block since then.

Last I heard, the Shield sales were past 3 million. I wonder how many LCPs Ruger sold? If I owned Kel Tec, I'd be very peeved off.

I think it is interesting how people jump on a new models. While I am not a Shield fan, (had one years ago) they are great guns, well built. I saw some for great prices today at my LGS. Some serious deals going on. They also had some nice Springfields on sales. Bud's has the discontinued Nano on sale now for $200.00 with free shipping since the APX came out. And then great deals on used guns that are like new, because someone bought a newer model etc. It is a great time to be buying guns. If someone likes light triggers and the LC9S, then the one I traded today will be a great deal for someone. I sent 6 magazines to my brother and gave 6 in on trade. Two of them the extended mags. I also had a TruGlo night sights on it. I also had two recoil springs and guide rods. And the gun was always reliable. The Kahr I bought looked like it had hardly been fired and I got a new Holster that the previous owner had obviously never used. Plus a spare magazine. Before I went into the store, I had every intention of getting a Brand New Kahr CM9.And I also received a huge discount on my yearly range fee for buying.
Someone a few months ago wrote a great post about not jumping on new models. I wish I could find it.

    I don't have a "favorite" carry gun.

The gun that I carry the most is a Glock 26. Usually in a Galco CM because that's what my concealment needs dictate

    20191102_220927.jpg

If I can conceal a bigger gun I carry a Glock 19. Again, in a Galco CM.

    20191102-221318.jpg .

When all else fails I carry a cat in a bag

I don't open carry under any circumstances and I wouldn't carry a Judge if it were the only gun on the planet

Depends on what I'm wearing for the weather and or occasions. Main thing is I can get it fast as needed.
