Ha ha! Yup.

#1 = BHP (everybody needs a 9mm Hi-Power, because without, you have no proper standard of comparison) and for me, 3rd gen Smiths, in both 9 and .40...

I'm 51. You must be pushin' 60... :D

1st: XD-SC .40 I am always amazed at the accuracy and durability of this little gun. My primary carry gun, it actually feels weird without it.

2nd: XD Full size .40 Only below because it is harder to conceal. Love it too.
 
Shot a number of nines, they are nice, but when it came to buying my gun, I got a .40, then again it might have been because the only XD tactical they had was in .40, just felt right, and still does to this day. .45 are ok, haven't really shot a bunch, 10mm are a stretch for my hand, ie cant drop the mag one handed, and in the end it's about the ergos and accuracy, both nines and .40 do very well in those departments.

I've got a Kel-Tec p40, manufactured P40, not conversion kit, that I have yet to shoot, I understand that it's one of the guns that will teach you if limp wrist or not... Something to show that .40 can be snappier than 9mm, really got it because it was a great buy I'd be stupid to pass and in a caliber I already own (very big).
 
My favorite 9mm for the range is my custom Browning HP with its 4.25lb trigger pull it's simply a tack driver:cool:

My favorite 9mm carry is my S&W 3914, ultra slim, reliable, accurate, it's the best CCW I've ever owned and I've owned a lot!

Favorite .40 for the range is my Springfield P9. It's true a good compensator goes a long way.

Favorite .40 for carry is my Sig P229. Thousands of rounds through it and not a single malfunction of any kind.

The CZ 75 SA is my favorite 9mm. Best features from CZ and BHP.
edit: I need the thin aluminum grips from CZ's custom shop for the CZ to surpass the ergonomics of the HP though.

I would like to try the Sig 226 though.

9mm is my favorite caliber because the pistols I like best are chambered for it. THere are not nearly as many options in 45 as for 9mm unless you think different colors of 1911s mean different pistols.

I like in this order: Browning Hi Power, HK P7, Beretta 92, Glock 19, CZ 75 Pre B model.
