Every last one of them. I'm sure the newer Chinese Tascos are worse but IMHO, the Japanese ones aren't enough of a step up to be worthy of consideration. Like I said, had too many give up the ghost and it didn't take abusive handling or abusive recoil to make it happen.

I kind of like the older Redfield Rimfire scope, fixed 4x. It is scaled down, I think 3/4" diameter tube, and just looks right on a sleek .22. It is also very light and compact otherwise. They can be found on ebay and other auctions now and then.

SWFA had and still might have a hell of a deal on the BSA Sweet .22 scope.
3X9 power and adjustable paralax and pretty clear. Nice for less than 40 bucks..

I have a Tasco Mag on my son's Savage 22. I dont think the scope is made any longer, but it's been great!! I think it's a 3-12x40. It has remained zeroed for over 2yrs, despite getting banged around in the safe, shooting at the range, etc. I would not hesitate to buy another one of these.

I just bought the BSA sweet 22 3x9 from Sportsman's wharehouse clearance for $34.89 shipped to My door. Put it on My CZ 452 American using a set of BKL rings. Damn weather keeps Me from sighting it in but for the price it is clear . WVleo
