Federals new cartridge any guesses?

What makes you say that??
Everyone has introduced a LOT of new cartridges over the last couple years. Stuff that on paper might exceed the performance of legacy cartridges, but don't fully get a foot hold. Bullet technology has greatly improved for existing legacy cartridges, takes less money to load a new bullet into an existing cartridge, than it does making a new one.

Well federal themselves said it was a new cartridge so I’ll take them at their word

How often do we keep reinventing the wheel?
For long as gun makers want to continue selling new guns. Without new cartridges, once the market is saturated who will but new guns? If all Ruger sold were .30-06, .223 and .357s, once everyone has one who will buy another? You can’t rely only on new gun owners, you need to stir up enthusiasm for repeat customers. It’s retail business 101. SMH.

.

So Federal is releasing a new cartridge on 1/7/25

Any Guesses on what it will be?

I'm pretty sure I'd buy myself a new little revolver chambered for the 9mm Federal if a major manufacturer started building them. And the 9mm Federal isn't even a "new" cartridge.
Yeah, yeah - I've heard about moon clips. I don't like them. And I already have and have had plenty of compact and sub-compact 9mm semi-autos. :barf:
