I also have a PA-63. I agree with the others that it is not a gun you will want to put hundreds of rounds through at a single sitting. It is, however, a nice little gun which fires a reasonably powerful round and is small and easy to carry and conceal.
When I bought mine, the DA trigger pull was atrocious, being very heavy and "peaky". I obtained a spring kit from
www.makarov.com and replaced the mainspring with the 9-lb mainspring in the spring kit. This not only lowered the DA pull to a manageable level, but also smoothed it and made it less "peaky", but still powered the hammer sufficiently to give the hard primers on my carry ammo (Barnaul 95-grain JHP steel case) a good smack. I also find that for reasons I can't explain, the gun shot "softer" after I made the spring change and I can now shoot 100-150 rounds through it without difficulty.
All in all, I now have a nice, reliable little gun with good power and accuracy. I realize it won't last forever and I don't expect it to, for the price I paid for it. When I take it to the range, I run about 100-150 rounds through it and that usually goes fine.
If you want a gun which last for 100,000 rounds without a failure, you won't get it buying a Hungarian military surplus pistol with an aluminum frame for $80, but if you do buy a PA-63, you'll be getting a nice, accurate, practical little pistol.
