Fictional gun rooms.

I rather enjoy depictions of gun rooms in movies and books. But I do not take them seriously.

I am much more concerned about my problem. Most of my collection are historical firearms and hunting mechanisms, with a few defense firearms, but the defensive arms are not on display. The historical stuff is to be shown and appreciated.

If you can do it safely/securely, I think both are cool to display.

The problem for most of us, I think, is that doing this with a reasonable level of security can be problematic.

A lot of the old western TV shows had an area in the home with a line of rifles leaned against the wall for the actors to run in and grab. Gunsmoke for one. And in any TV show or movie sheriff's office in a western there was always a rack o rifles behind his desk for all the deputies to grab when it hit the fan.
