So, as I was gathering data and deciding what 1911 I was going to buy (as well as gathering cash), I had pretty much decided on a Springfield Loaded. Wife really didn't want me to spend more than that. So, walked into a local gunshop, and what to my wondering eyes should appear but a used SW 1911. Slightly used. Guy had bought it, then was told for his job he needed a new carry gun and that couldn't be it. Had to trade it in a week after he bought it to afford the new carry gun. Been fired once. Got it for $630 - going rate in my area for new is $800-$880. I'm psyched!!!!
