I bought one from a local guy. It came with 2 magazines and 200 rounds of SilverBear 94gr HP's for $220. The finish is a little more worn than I would have liked, but it is solid in ervery other way! I almost flipped out when I saw the bore, but quickly did some research and found they all look smooth. It was covered in packing oil, but cleaned up nice.
I took it out the first day after the initial cleaning and ran 100 rounds of hollow point ammo through it without a glitch. It shoots accurately and smooth, and I like the additional capacity over an actual Makarov.
I have 2 Makarov's and now this CZ 82, I really like the pistols and the deals that can be found on the pistols that shoot the cartridge. I only run SilverBear HP's through all of them for practice and carry, as it is affordable enough to do so!
I do not see my self carrying this as the weight is fairly signifcant, but It will see alot of rangework and some bedside home defense rolls. I also would like to see the wife use this over her favored 5 shot snub for the added capacity, but only if she feels the same. She really shoots the Mak's well, so I assume this would be no different!
How do those of you that have them, like them?? Also, I will get some pics up soon, thanks for your input!

One, actually two pieces of advice

READ and think carefully before fully disassembling this gun, the sear spring is hooked to the hammer block safety, and if it isn't properly installed, doesn't tension the sear, leading to all sorts of problems...

If you do take to down to parts, CZUSA will put it back together for $70.

Third bit of advise... Change the recoil spring to a higher power spring. Seems to improve recoil a bit and helps with brass being ejected into the next county.

LOVE my CZ82's. One of my favorite.

I love how natural it points for me! I may look into getting one of those cheaper paint on finishes to refinish it and clean it up a bit, can't rtemember the name right now.
I looked and saw that night sights are also available for this model. Who has put night sights on their CZ 82?? Also, can you get just a front NS for the CZ, or do you have to get rear and front?
