Finding a "CA" SKS

Hey guys.
I been looking all over for a site that sells california legal SKS's.
So far i found one but for whatever reason there not C&R.

any information or help would be much apreciated.
also im not oposed to driving a ways to find one. (I live in Fresno)My town doesnt seem to have anyone Knowlegeable.
So if you know a place please help a fellar out!

First off all sks's are legal in california except chinese ones that take ak47 mags and yugo's that have grenade launchers but you can still get those without the launcher. They have a muzzle break instead. Yugos are c&r but they aren't 50 years old as required by california law. Chinese aren't c&r. Russians are c&r and I'm not sure about romanians. Don't you have a local gunshop or two? Go check em out. Most gun shops in California have a few SKS's to choose from. Pricing ranges widely.

This may seem akward, and it is, but I suggest looking down the barrel to check for rust and deep marks. Make sure you lock the bolt to the rear first not only to verify that its unloaded but also to let some light into the barrel. The cheaper ones are usually cheap for a reason.

Call Century Arms - I get their flyers and they have alot of differnent things that they dont advertise on the internet. Last flyer I had listed Cali-SKSs...
 
I have called every gun/pawn shop in the area...Noone has one or has had one for quite some time. =(
 
They've got a bunch of em down in Los Angeles. your gun store should be able to order them for you, interordenance.com is pretty cheep
 
i am in the Los Angeles area.

i bought a Yugo M59 from Turners a few years ago. Shot it today as a matter of fact! :D


too bad you aren't in SOCAL, Rettings in Culver City always has at least a half dozen in stock....last time i was there they even had an Albanian...

I found a Shop about an hour's drive aaway. There gonna be getting 12 SKS's soon and promissed to call when they arive.

He told me they run em at 99-200 dollars depending on Condition.

AQnyone in the Central Valley of california interested in picking one up PM me and ill give you the shop info.
