I've been trying to locate an FFL in Westchester county NY that will transfer guns to me that I plan to buy from other locations.

...no FFL in my area seems to be interested in performing this service for a fee.

    Ok - thanks.

My inquires to FFLs began several weeks ago using the references in Gunbroker.com.

I sent 5 or 6 e-mails and made a few calls..... but no one was very helpful.

Try this guy. He has weird hours since he is a Yonkers cop, but is great to deal with. He opens after work and is there until 11:00 usually.

Davis Shooting in Sloatsburg is in Rockland, but transferred my Desert Eagle with no hassles.

For whatever reason I have found most NY dealers to be a pain to deal with. So I won't be shipping anything into NY. Even CA is better than that.

Not all FFL's register with sites like GB, AA, etc.

The ATF has a list of all FFL's, sorted by state, at:
    http://www.atf.gov/about/foia/ffl-list.html

The third column in the XL spreadsheet is a county code. Once you figure out what yours is, you should be able to find the FFL's closest to you.
