After a year of saving and scavenging I finally have my AR rifle assembled. I plan on taking it to the range this Saturday to see what she can do. :D

Here's what she's got:
S&W MP lower reciever
DPMS LPK (plan to upgrade the trigger eventually)
Magpul PRS Stock
Magpul MIAD Modular Pistol Grip
Sabre Defense upper w/ 24" heavy fluted barrel w/ 1:8" twist
Badger Ordnance Tactical Forend (love this forend!)
Burris AR P.E.P.R. 1-Piece Extended Scope Mount
Tasco Target / Varmit 6-24x42 scope
Harris Bipod

AWESOME gun! Looks like your year of waiting paid off! I have always dreamed of building my AR into a long-range type of gun like that.

Congrats on finishing, now get out there and shoot the darn thing!

Looks sweet! I've been thinking of doing a build job like that, just doing it in 6.5 instead... looking forward to a range report!

Congrats !! Fine lookin' bang stick ya built there. As soon as my upper arrives, mine will be done too. Mine will be 6.8 SPC II.

BTW... Bill Springfield can do you a fine trigger job for about $55... that'll get you a 3# or 4# trigger with a speed hammer mod as well. He'll rework your hammer/trigger/disconnect, some new springs and voila... you'll be good to go for a lot less than some of these expensive drop in ones. He's at www.triggerwork.net

Had a good time shooting at the range, this rifle shoots much better than me.
Here is the best group of the day:
5 rounds at 100 yds from the bench (handload: Hornady 68 Gr HPBT with 24.0 Gr Accurate 2230)
Had 1 flyer but I think this rifle is good to go!

I only count 3 in that tight group. I must be missing one. Nice shooting!

You going to take it out further next time? Certainly looks like you need to challenge that gun.
