aimsurplus.com is selling gunsmith special finn m39s for 179 shipped. they have either cracked stocks or handguards. they are mostly non matching, and have finish of light to good. bore may be dark but rifling will be excellent as well as headspace.

these aren't collector guns, but with a little bit of wood glue you can have a very nice shooter for much less than the $300 m39s normally go for these days.

anybody know wha tkind of wood glue to use?

Gorilla Glue is the popular one right now. Surplusrifle.com had an article on it, iirc. I remember an article on it in an issue of the Garand Collectors Association journal several issues back.
