I am the president of the University of Florida Chapter of Students for Concealed Carry.

As we prepare for our up coming empty holster protest, the current political climate has raised interest in the student newspaper, the Alligator.

I was recently interviewed concerning carry on campus, and was not covered very fairly imo, but the alligator has put up a poll asking about guns on campus. I know most of you guys aren't students here, but Id really like to make a point to the alligator that there are 2A supporters out there.

I always wondered if you were someone I knew tangentially! I'm Michael... I posted my comment already at the terrible wording and unfair light that the alligator is taking. Simply "guns on campus" is the worst way to frame the question when we're talking about concealed carry permit holders.

As I drill into my kids, there is no such thing as fair, only equitable. You will receive neither from the press. IMHO, you have a better chance of being struck by lightning (especially here in FL).
