    Have always been into handguns for the most part. All my long guns have been for nothing but hunting. I had a Bushmaster back in the pre ban era. I bought a Beretta CX4 Storm on a whim and had a blast shooting it and it made me want to get a AR again. I forgot how fun it was to shoot a rifle, well just for fun. I bought a Stag 2TL. Plan on getting Light, VFG and sling here when I replentish the funds. :)
    A few pics if ya dont mind.

    Very nice, Stag makes good stuff. I like the EOtech too.

    You darn lefties! just kidding. :) That is a very pretty rifle.

    That looks like a real live Eotech on there as well. Is it?

    Who makes the handguard? I like it!

    Have fun with your new toy!

    Thanks for all the nice replies.
    Yes it an Eotech, and the handguard is a Samson. Im not sure if they are in business now because of a lawsuit about the patent with Troy.

    and....

    THe Storm is a 9mm. I have a Hakko scope on it. It actually works really nice for a fairly inexpesive red dot.
    I have not got to shoot the Stag yet. Just got it so hopefully I can shoot it this weekend. I bought about 200 rounds of Wolf and will probably pick up another 50-100 rounds for its first session.
    THe Storm, it is a great little rifle. Everyone that shoots it wants to buy one. I have yet to have any malfuntion of any kind it has had less than 500 rounds through it though. Accuracy at short ranges is good. 25 yards is just one ragged hole. I have not shot it over 50yrds.
    The biggest pro of the Storm for me is it being able to be converted to a true LH gun . :)
    Its easy to use, easy to break down and easy to clean. It is a very smartly designed weapon IMO.
    I really see no negatives in the Storm so far.

    Ford - not to hijack the thread, but did you have to have a smith convert the stom to LH? Or can you do that yourself? I shoot LH as well, but have always shot RH guns - including my AR.

    Just curious

    How do you like the Eotech? I'm kind of waffling between getting that or one of the Aimpoint CompM3's.

    @Jonb
    The Storm is easily converted to LH configuration. So easy even I could do it. :p Also check out Stag Arms and there line of LH AR's. I used to shoot everything right handed as well but finally got tired of it and am now only buying left handed long guns.

    @Cougfan2
    I was trying to decide between the 2 of those as well. No doubt the Aimpoint is a top notch scope. I went with the EoTech basically becasue it was slightly less expensive and it is faster to get on target that the Aimpoint. I think the Aimpoint is arguably more rugged and has a little better battery life. Atleast thats the consensus.

    Nifty!

    Anyone else appreciate the irony of a laser light warning sticker on a rifle scope? :)

    right at $1400 so far for the Stag, scope and sling. Still have to get light, mount, tape switch and Vertical forearm grip

    THe Storm I have like $450 in the gun and scope.

    Good on ya Ford. Nice rifles. With your pistols, you have all the bases covered out to 600 meters. Great selection on the Stag.
