First attempt at Gun Kote

A friend of mine was getting out of the business and gave me several bottles of Gun Kote, and my ne 'speed gun' needed a good finish, so...

...it got a so-so one, but not tragically bad for a first attempt. Some parts will get refinished and sprayed again, but overall I like it.


The lower weight has a spray error, and the upper weight has some blemishes. Fortunately those didn't show up until after I baked the part. Bugger. Well, live and learn. Next time will be better.

Nice! Would be great to get it on the first go yet these processes are very educational so still well worth it! Were you able to determine what caused those marks?

The spray marks are obvious. Need to have a closer look at the ones on the front-sight weight.
