2022 might very well be a no gun year for me, I’m saving for another Wilson or two and might need a whole year to do it. Guess there’s always the possibility for a trade that would make a new to me gun appear.
I didn't wait nearly to the middle of the month. I bought a S&W Model 25-5 .45 Colt on NYD. That didn't fully scratch my itch, so I bought a Browning Hi Power in .40S&W on Jan 2nd. Unfortunately for my wallet and budget, I spent a helluva lot more than $108 for the two of them.
Same here. I have enough junkers to keep me busy repairing and fixing up. Plan to just save up and get something special. Keep going back to one of the new Automags.
Since you asked...I picked up an Anschutz 1710 a week after New Years. You can win auctions relatively cheaply on a holiday weekend.
Other than just being a big pussy why would you need to hide anything or be afraid of anyone??? I do what I want when I want and everyone associated is just fine with it.
How much did that run you? I'm currently looking at the RIA m200 for plinking and truck gun. M200 is going for right under $300
Arriving next week... Sold. most all my handguns... and raised the cash... Janz EM357 Mag... LNIB... Under 9k... View attachment 1052222 View attachment 1052223
Yeah man, I saw it in the Revolver section! I'm all sorts of jealous, that things worth more than both my cars! Is it a shooter or a safe queen?
I do. not have a safe... and. I. make. a. point of. only having shooters... The. Janz. has. been shot. before... So, driving by the range. on the way home from my FFL...
I'm not familiar with those. What is the white dot behind the trigger on the right side that has graduations with a "+/-" ? looks like the PPC guns from back in the 1970's I used to shoot against.
Using the small provided screwdriver... one can adjust the trigger weight... (1.5 - 6 #. )...via a small hole in the wood grip... and the white dot... is the ( +/ -) indicator/dial...It turns... along with the screwdriver screw... View attachment 1052260
I’m another that have n’t bought anything yet although I did put together a Gadsden “Don’t Tread on me” AR upper kit. Instead of the “16” 223 barrel that came with the kit I’m building a using a 10” 300BO & a nickel boron bolt/carrier & my 30Ti suppressor fits easily in its mouth. I’ve got a forged “Don’t Tread on Me” receiver I need to finish together, I’ve got a premium parts kit, 2-stage trigger, just waiting on a brace. I’ll get a picture when it’s finished …
Ruger P345 in 6mm. For the javenila (desert pigs for all you northerners) that come around. I'd like to use the .45 cal version on them but need a tag.
I stopped by my LGS today and he had a G&G Mauser 1911 .22LR. It feels very solid in my hand and the slide action is very smooth. As soon as it warms up a bit (high of 5 degrees today), I’ll take it out back.
My second gun of 2022, Henry .38/.357 large loop carbine. Been wanting one of these for some time and found a very good deal on one at the LGS. Tomorrow it's off to the gun club with the little brother.
Last gun I bought was in October of '20. I spent all of last year stocking up on ammo. Not the greatest time to do it but I was patient and waited for "deals" as per the times. I don't really "need" anymore guns but I'd "like" to find a deal on a another AR15 and already have lock on a AR12. We'll see. Would love to have a SA 45LC revolver but one thing I'm committed to at this point is not adding any new calibers, since I've stocked up on ammo.
I have a downpayment on a layaway for a S&W .380 Bodyguard. Unless I cancel the layaway, this will be my first gun of 2022.
Got this one yesterday. Why? Can't really say for sure. Picked up a Wrangler (on sale+gift cards=wth) last weekend. Keep telling myself I'm not buying anything else until I find the right 52 Winchester or 37 Remington. Or Colt Commander in 38 Super. Or Sig Match Elite .45. Or, or, or...
