S&w 329pd

I love that gun, it's my camping gun, and as accurate as all get-out without the weight.

In 1967, I bought a brand new Walther PPK .380 with a 67 date on the chamber at the base exchange at Travis AFB. I still have the gun and, if I can find it, I believe that I have the original receipt. It's the only gun that I own that I would never consider selling.

First one I bought that qualifies was in 1970, and is a Sheridan 5mm pneumatic.($45) Qualifies because it is classified as a firearm here.:( First actual firearm bought by me was a Ruger RST-6 in 1979.($92) Still have both.

1977 - Ruger Blackhawk; G&G Sporting Goods, Grand Forks, ND. Paid $133.00 OTD. :)

Sold it 2 years later for $155 when hard up for money. :(
Sure wish I hadn't done that, now. :banghead:

First gun I ever bought myself was a 9mm Beretta 92FS. I just love that gun.

Second gun I ever bought, and first rifle, was a .38Spcl Uberti 1866 Yellow Boy Lever Action Rifle.

First firearm that I purchased was a bring back German Luger. Bought if from a guy for $40 in 1953. He threw in a Colt DA revolver for another $10. This was one of those in .38 Colt, gun made around 1910 or so. It came with a government crossdraw holster. Later sold the holster for $200, the gun itself was almost worthless.

Back in 1983 in Copperas Cove Texas at the local Wal-Mart. I think I paid around $200 for it. I still have it. My very first self bought gun was a Ruger Mini-14.

Glock 19 complete with Galco jackass shoulder holster and Comptac kydex owb paddle.

Think I wore the Shoulder rig for two days in the heat and humidity and just gave up on it.

1981 Ruger Security Six, Stainless Steel, 6" barrel. Harry's Army-Navy, Yardville, NJ. Harry's is still there. It's the best gun store I've ever been to. They had everything, and they had it 6 deep. Not just guns, but all the associated goodies.

First new: Ruger Blackhawk 45 LC/45 ACP. The 45 ACP was a waste of money - I enjoyed reloading more than I thought, and I use the Black exclusively in 45 LC.

First used: CZ-52 - cooler in theory than in fact. Slide cracked with fairly light usage (no mil supr, all S&B loads, which are not particularly hot for the pistol). Sold/given to a friend who likes milsurp.

The first new gun I bought myself was a Beretta A 302 special trap at Eubanks Trap and Skeet in Redalnds Ca. It took me forever to save up the money but finally did. That was 1988.

The first gun I ever bought on my own with my own money was a Mossberg 590 w/ a pistol grip. I later put a tac stock and a few other things on it, still have today-

Just a few weeks ago actually, unless you count the just about unfired S&W 586 and the just about unfired CZ 97B.

It was a Glock 27, specifically bought to use as a CCW, and I love carrying it, but it sort of hurts to shoot it. I make myself shoot it more than any other handgun when I go out, because a gun so easy to carry is one I will end up carrying almost all the time, so I'd better get better with it.

Paid too much. 570 after tax.
