First shot - How old were you and what was it

About age 5 on a ruger 10/22 (33 years ago). Last year my son (Almost 5 at the time) fired that same .22. He’s since learned to hold it properly on his own and talks out the safety rules as he goes through them before each shot.

one of my most distinct first times was a 12gauge pump at a clay pigeon when I was 9, remember that one well. The hill I stood on, my dad behind me in case I fell over, lol

Not counting a Daisy pellet/bb rifle at around 7or8, my grandfather let me use my grandmother's Stevens 20ga single barrel to squirrel hunt with him at 9, and bought me my own Ithaca model 36 20ga at 10. He taught me how to do it right.
