SIGS are Superbly designed pistols and have wonderful ergonomics.
The 220 in particular is one of the all-time Classic .45's ever designed. Very slim, shoots soft and always accurate.
SIGS virtually never fail to feed & eject and.........
When's the last time anyone's heard of a SIG blowing up?
If you're going to get a 229 consider getting it in .40 then get a .357 bbl. for it. Factory SIG .357 bbl's. can be found more easily than .40's and for around $120.
