After a few months of Chaos, I return to the internet. In this highly gun-related thread, let me disclose that I have not fired a shot since my last visit to the High Road.
The Chaos included:
Moving out of my apartment and into a friend's basement.
Being informed my Natl. Guard Service would be extended more than a year so I could take part in the festivities in Babylon, and possibly be involved in a firefight. (Let's keep it gun-related, folks
)
Moving up my wedding date by a month and a half due to the above. No gun-related wedding gifts.
A wedding and a one-week honeymoon, followed by three weeks of living in different places, (The Smith Mod. 19 was with us the whole time, either by the bed or under the driver's seat) and moving stuff into the new house, until my wife's roommate could move into her condo. I got to help with that, too.
Finding out after all this time of hanging by a thread that my ETS had gone through, and my year in the Guard is up - I will remain stateside. Three more months left in IRR.
Finding out the engine of my 300,000-plus-mile truck has gone to join his fathers before my dad is done rebuilding the new engine. Another month and a half. :banghead:
Establishing internet service in the new domicile.
Is Oleg's Armed-Polite-Society forum defunct? Hard to imagine a site developed for the most argumentative people on the High Road would self-destruct.
