Threads like this really annoy me. Are you just sitting back waiting for them to take your rights away and looking for options or are you doing something about it? Writing your reps, your Gov.....contributing to the NRA-ILA?

Expecting legislation doesn't mean OP is not doing anything to try and stop it.

I left CA after retiring from the Navy, moved to SC. Here, we just go out in our back yard & do what we want to do - no talk in the State House about any mag limits.

They can ban it all they want... doesn't mean people will comply. Doesn't stop drunk driving, drug use, speeding, robberies, or jay walking.

Would suck being caught with it, but then again... rather be judged than buried.

This is the kind of ridiculousness we get stuck with, when one side won't compromise (NRA) to agree on something reasonable.

But then again, remember that the NRA is a trade association. They will love the fact that people will have to go out and buy an entire new class of firearms. And then once they have milked that, they will carve out loopholes that will maximize the prices and profitability of potential gun sales.

It seems like all the gun control states are trying to outdo one another on ridiculous laws, or are they trying to goad the people into doing something to stop it? Sounds like they are trying at trouble.
