I could use your thoughts on an inexpensive Flap holster for range use.
I have several pistols I would like to fit, Full size semi-M&P, Jericho 941F, Taurus TX22, HI-Power, Even a Victory & 1911. Or anything my buddy brings to use.
Nylon is fine, an extra mag pocket or not makes no difference.
I would like to be able to tuck or fold the flap out of the way, it could have some sort of buckle or just velcro.
Not a drop holster just loop on the belt.

GI leather 1916 can be found for about $20.
The leather is flexible to tote many things. The metal lug through a hole in the flap can be imprecise. It has belt loops and an 1910 wire hanger.

Bianchi UM84/M10 holsters have a better flap, but better fit automatics, and can be found for $10-15. The clamp-on belt clip is reversible and very sure. The Version for revolvers is much harder to find (as far fewer were made).

Another vote for the UM84, I have a couple and they work great. I have the one made for a revolver as well. It is a great field holster.

792mauser thanks, I got a slightly used m12.
Its nice that the flap is easily removable, goes over the belt and clips on.
Even has a plastic cleaning rod.
Looks to be snug but works for most any gun.
