LOL this cracks me up. I shot my first fly finally. Had to go look at the target. What ever that brown streak is, he was busy eating.
I put a new scope on an old Diana 34 I've had for years, still shoots good. But that was luck.

I’m still in trouble from this summer. A tomato hornworm moth got in the house. He lit on the bezel for the cieling fan and I had an air soft pistol handy. I need to clean that bezel before the wife has another conniption.

All the red arrows are small bugs shot with my TX200 177 at 40 yards. The black arrow is one I let live to show what I was shooting.

That looks like the spit bugs we have here in GA. They can jump a mile and make a nest of foam in the yard. And are good for target practice, apparently! haha

Used a Crosman 1377 once to take a palmetto bug from the inner peak of an eleven-foot ceiling; bug spray wouldn't reach it.
The two halves of the critter flew apart in opposite directions, one still trying to move when it landed. The texture of the popcorn ceiling concealed the hole quite nicely.

Wife isn’t home to catch me taking a picture. This is what’s left of that tomato hornworm moth I mentioned above. I should bring the ladder in, but seeing this makes me giggle a bit each time I think about her and the cat both flailing around then I just shoot it with the air soft gun. I think they were enjoying chasing the stupid thing.

Just be careful, they still pack some punch even though they're made of felt.

I've only scored on one fly in my entire life with any gun and that was a lucky shot with a .22.... But I'm always waiting for my next opportunity whenever my 22 cal Benjamin Trail is in use. Those are cool pictures; thanks to all who posted. My limited air gun hunting experience has been limited to squirrels but I'd love to get a few aftermath pictures of flys and other assorted insects. For less damaging indoor use there are those one pump air guns that shoot common table salt in a shotgun like pattern so there's a better chance of hitting a target that small. I have zero experience with those but they look pretty cool. They are called the " Bug A Salt" gun www.bugasalt.com and I'd almost bet that they could be fun and make it easier to hit those darn flys.
