Acquired a new pistol today. Its an FN Hi Power on the side it reads "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE" The SN on it is 5527. Also I have both original mags and the numbers on the mags and the numbers on the front of the pistol grip match. Also the original box. The gun is in near 100% condition. Any info on this gun would be appreciated and also an approx. value. Thanks

I think that's a 1950s gun, possibly for the Austrian or W. German police. I'm sure someone will pop in to confirm or destroy that idea. If that age and "near 100%", it's either a minty gem or it's been refinished. Pics would be a big help, but you're probably in the $550-$750 range.

Its worth what someone will pay you for it. Need pics to tell you what it is...

You say you just acquired it.....and now want to know what it's worth?

Isn't it worth what YOU paid or traded for it?

1950's gun in really good condition ... people like me would not doubt to pay 800 us dollars for it without hesitation.

If it is 1950's

If it is in good condition.

If the mags are original.

If the box is original.

I traded on this pistol with a little boot from the other end....mags are original numbers on the mags match the numbers on the pistol grip of the gun, also have original box
