My birthday is in 2 weeks so I got the ok from my better half to buy a new gun. I did sell off a gun/ammo that I never use to offset the cost a little after she said something like 'it cost how much?'. Anyway, we put 500 rounds of cheap Russian steel ammo through it and only had one failure which was ammo related. Sweet shooting gun. This is my first FN of any kind.

Happy bday! I had mine yesterday and got two M&P's a few months ago ahead of time, for my bday (from spouse of course). :)

An FNX-45 is on my short list. I don't think I would get a lot of mileage out of a tactical model, but that is one sweet looking gun.
FNH is currently my go-to polymer pistol brand. Love em:)

Not for me. I handled one last week and could not stand the grips. I'm sure they are fine weapons, but all that matters is that the owner likes it.
