It looks like TDS-US has a variety of it in stock, 124+P 9mm, 155 and 180 .40, and 230+P .45 ranging in price from $25 for the 9mm and .40 stuff to $28 for the .45, though there are a couple of oddball loads they've got too that have different prices.

Not sure why the XM40HC is $29, but whatever. Sweet that they have the 165 grain EFMJ for $18, haven't seen that very often, and never for that cheap.

I guess the reason they don't show a lot of the different loads for each type of bullet is because they only show what they've got in stock. Seems like a solid practice.

I've never really had any interest in Federal's Expanding Full-Metal Jackets, but for $18/50, it's not much more than typical FMJ ammunition to complain much. I bought a few boxes just to give them a shot.

At the absolute least, I have some plinking ammunition. Considering that I have only one pistol in .40S&W and don't reload for it (and probably have only 200 round on hand for it), I'm glad I bought them. I'm aware they're likely factory seconds that failed some gov't test for accuracy, but a box of 50 Federal EFMJ for $18 still seem like a deal to me.

Thanks for that link, NG VI!

I think, from the way they were treating some of the other ammo, it might have been from some agency or other that decided after the fact that they didn't feel like buying everything they ordered, so they can resell it, but not in the box. They have some little notice where they say the stuff they have to bag will come with the endflap of the box in with it.

Yeah the EFMJ stuff I had a box of once, it was kind of cool, I wouldn't call it quite as good as the best hollowpoints but it's pretty decent, if you live in New Jersey it's the best you can do. If I remember I paid about $24 for it about three years ago at a shop in town.

NJ allows hollow point ammunition in your home.

I've heard so many different variations on the NJ laws on hollowpoints that if I were living in NJ I would most likely just roll with the EFMJ while I waited for a letter back from the attorney general's office on what's really good.

^ What a regulatory/legal nightmare. Once again, I'm glad that I live in Texas.

Yeah New Jersey does seem like a real downer. It's cool that they "allow" you to use whatever ammunition you want inside your home, but it's still an unbelievable pain, and I'm not convinced it won't result in charges being leveled anyway by some officer or DA with an agenda or lack of knowledge.

I just received my 150 rounds of Federal EFMJ from TDS. The boxes were in better shape than the seller lead on, so I'm quite pleased.

    Thanks again for the link!

No problem, I've bought from them a few times, the shipping was way fast and they tend to have good stuff, sometimes some oddball loads, yeah they're fast and have good product, what else can you say about them?
