OK, it's a Friday let's have some fun!

Take your pick (or rank if feeling funky) out of these 3 and why:

    Sig P220 Compact/Carry
    Sig 1911 Carry/Compact
    Glock Model 30 reg./SF

    They're all good pistols, they're all 45s...

Have at it gents and play nice!

    ATB,

    Scrummy

    1.) G30
    2.) Sig P220
    3.) 1911

First off, I am not a fan of the 1911. Secondly, nothing feels better in my hand than a Sig, even the P220. However, for capacity's sake (10-13 rounds vs. 6-8 rounds) and concealability's sake (G30 is more compact than even the P220 compact), the G30 wins out.

Glock 30. I shoot this gun better than most other defensive handguns of any sort consistently. Light recoil for size and caliber. And, it's 10+1 of .45acp goodness in a relatively small, light package.

G30. I would have bought the 30 but I liked the way my G36 fit in my hand. I only use it as my summer CCW and it is accurate for a short barrel. Glock really is worth all hype. 45acp Sig's are pretty crappy IMHO. Glock 30 is still an excellent handgun for most shooters. It basically is the 45 version of the G26.

While I love my C3 Sig 1911, I will always choose my P220. The DA/SA is plus. The P220 is almost as comfortable for me to shoot. I carry my P220 everyday everywhere.

But what about the Kahr CW45?

Did you intentionally exclude it because it is American made? :scrutiny:

    1) SIG M1911 Compact/Carry

    2) SIG P220 Compact/Carry

    3) Glock Model 30

Both SIGs fit my hand better and feel more comfortable for me to shoot than the Glock.

    1. G30

    2. SIG220

    3. Never a 1911 compact/carry

One of my favorite off duty pistols is the G36, hence choosing the G30.

Love the SIG 22x series of anything.

The 1911 was designed as a 5" gun, which I often carry in a Caspian Custom or the STI with winter coats. It may be a stereotype that mini-1911s have a higher failure rate, but I'm going to side with the 5"+ variants.

Both Sig's are nice looking guns to me, the Glock is not.

Honestly, if I ever get another .45 ACP, it'll be a Ruger P Series. I just like the way they shoot.

I tried to buy a Glock once. They don't make guns for humans the best I can tell. They must make guns for those two fingered alien guys. None of them fit my hand.
