Okay, I am fed up with looking, b/c i can't seem to find anything of value online. I want a barrel for my ppk/s that can be threaded. I have read about doing it with a PP barrel but alas I am having trouble finding a place that retails them in .380. Also, I would like to know the feasibility of grinding off the frint sight post and doing a drill tap job for a tritium front sight post. Thanks

You can buy new PP barrels from Earl's, who is the North American Walther repair and parts source:

Note that changing out the barrel requires a special press device.
Try to drive it in and out with a hammer, and the frame will distort, ruining it.
I'd suggest letting Earl's install the new barrel.

On the front sight, the companies that sell and install the luminous sights can often drill the factory front sight and install a capsule.

If needed, you could remove the front entirely and install several different types of sights, ranging from a dovetailed sight, to a luminous globe similar to a shotgun bead sight.

There are also a number of smiths who do sight work on the Walthers.

Carefull you will have more money in Pistol than cost new and won't be able to get anything for it if you decide to sell.
A PPK/S is a close range SD pistol. and is great at its job.

no intention to sell, gathered up all my guns that don't mean anything to me and sold them at the local gun store. i only have this my SA Operator, Taurus pt99, which was given to me by a very dear friend, and the walther. I want the walther to be great.

Yes, and it's very accurate as well, at least mine is.
