Just think how much it would go for if they still had the matching belt-buckle that came with it.

Anyone else notice the idiot-scratch from when someone put the slide stop in? That right there should knock $1000 off the price.:neener:

Mexican BBQ Gun? Any Texan care to comment if this would be a Mexican version of the Texan genre of handguns?

Note the other two this seller has up:

    http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=85204872

and in case you ever wondered what a Mexican Nazi Hi-Power would look like:

    http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=85204749

What I think is going on here, is that making these things is someone's serious, no joke, real plan to get rich quick. It's not like some collector stumbled across this thing in the yucatan. Some guys in Chicago are doing this to innocent guns all day long in hopes they'll draw $5-10,000 on Gunbroker.

It's a shame that that hammer is the most nicely engraved thing in any of those pictures. The work on the pistols is kind of crude and the designs... so very, very tacky.

That is some Gosh-awful engraving, ain't it? I think it was attacked-with-tools rather than made nice-nice by an artist. Oh, well. It ain't my money.

I think it makes a nice contrast with a Glock with mall ninja danglies loaded with extreme shock.

Now I know what I want for Christmas.

Do you suppose they'll make me some custom platinum Aztec-Ninja-Nazi target grips for my High Standard?

Proably not in time for the holidays, huh? I guess I'll have to get something useful instead.

    they're obviously misguided,,,

the only thing that would make me believe this is really what someone does for a living is if they {screw'd up} I mean, pimped up an RG or FEG .38 wheelie with a 4" bbl. That' enough to just pi#s a guy off, taking a perfectly good handgun off the average-joe market.
Even Sadman Husein didn't have any bling as nice as those!

What a shame it is to ruin what was once a beautiful Colt.

Yeah, I did say I felt bad, actually I went to archive.org and looked at everything in their online store since they've had one... I do believe they work really hard at this, and pretty often they seem to produce something that's really pretty. It's just that the misses are awful, like the "purple heartwood" purple American Legion grips... and they're full speed ahead down the wrong road with crap like that Zimmerman telegram Hi-Power.
