    Too funny.

That guy with the bat/table was just too funny.

I like it... Add Kevlar, and substitute a Mossy 500 for the baseball bat...

As incredibly stupid as it is, you could do much worse than a hardwood club and a shield, so long as you know what you're doing. How long until they ban Blunt Objects from possession by the proles in the UK?

I'd buy one. Great for college campuses, imho, with their anal weapons rules.

It's a great Idea, but still illegal if I understand British law correctly. I had read that any offensive item was banned for carry/use, that included pocketknives, keys, or any other item if used to strike another person.

The way I understood it, British law basically makes self-defense a criminal act. If I am wrong, please enlighten me (any Brits out there).

I wonder if they tested that shield design. I'd think the bat docking device would break your arm if somebody whacked that shield forcefully enough.

necessity is the mother of invention

I like it, put a couple bottles of grain alcohol and a zippo on top and you got yourself a nice little unassuming weapons rack. :fire:

I think the model with a spike on the shield boss would only sell well in Scotland... ;)

Thats actually a very good idea lol

But on a more serious note for those of use who want a gun close at hand but have kids-

    http://elitetacticalsources.com/gun_safes.htm

Something like that allows a loaded gun to be close at hand but with the safty of being locked in the gun safe.
