Today I loaded some .223 for my AR.

I lovingly trimmed my brass to 1.750, chamfered inside my necks, deburred outside my necks, cleaned primer pockets etc.

Loaded my favorite 40g Nosler Ballistic Tips over 26g of H335 and put a nice crimp on them. :banghead:

They'll still shoot to .7 MOA, but the crimp just kills me.

I gotta get me a bolt or falling block varmint gun.

I am sure someone would be glad to take that piece of junk .7 MOA AR off your hands.

Well, I'm shooting that well (and better) with my Savage 12 .223, with no crimp. Save your AR for when TSHTF and get a bolt gun! ;)

A Lee FCD takes no time at all to use when mounted in a Turret Press. I tested 30-06 ammo with and without a crimp and the crimped ammo is more accurate with lower SD.
