I've played around with a couple different powders for my CZ-527 .223 Remington such as IMR 4198 and 4320. Today I think I've found "the load" for the CZ-527.

55 Grain V-Max Ballistic Tip Hornday Bullets
26 Grains Win 748
CCI #400 Primer
2.200" OAL

Loaded up 50 of these and I had plenty groups of 5 with all 5 bullets touching at 100 yards. Just thought I'd share :D

There's so much satisfaction when a load you put together works well. That is why reloading is such fun.

Glad you were able to hit the magic combo there. I have 30 - .223 rounds loaded up for some range time tomorrow. Got loads of IMR4198, Varget and Rel15 in 40g and 50g bullets. Thats the powder I had on the bench.

This is for my daughters T/C VENTURE.

So far, I have been unable to find a bad load for my CZ-527!

I use the same 26.3 WW-748 / 55 V-Max or Nosler BT's I load for my AR-15 & Ruger Mini and it shoots one hole groups with either of those.

Another fan of the 223 CZ-527's, and 748 powder. With one of those very pointy bullets, might want to try loading em out further. Mine has short lede, but allows longer lengths in mag. Have done this with the 50 gn v-max.
