I had mine for almost a year. Loved that scale. I dropped it a few days ago and now it reads all whacky. I will get one again.

Mine was very accurate. I compared it to my little precision scale, and it was always spot on. Thanks for the link Mad!! I just ordered it.

Mines been working great, but occasionally does drift a bit. Thankfully it's very easy to recognize when it happens and I've used it pretty heavily for about 5 years now. It's preformed better than to be expected.
If you're trying to save a buck while gearing up to start reloading, I'd say it was a good buy. I'm due to replace mine now, and can afford something a little nicer since I'm not trying to buy a press and dies and the million other little things you need

The OP is asking about the new 1500 grain Platinum Series 110/220V digital scale from Frankford Arsenal that sells for $69 and not the sub $30 DS-750 - http://www.amazon.com/Frankford-Arsenal-Platinum-Series-Precision/dp/B00EE6GHU8

BTW, Smith & Wesson acquired Battenfeld Technologies in 2014 and is the parent company of Frankford Arsenal, Caldwell Shooting Supplies, Wheeler Engineering, Tipton Gun Cleaning Supplies, Lockdown Vault Accessories, Bog-Pod, Golden Rod Moisture Control, Hooyman, and Non-Typical Wildlife Solutions - http://www.btibrands.com/about/

This one looks quite a bit nicer than my older POS model.

When are you going to test it BDS:D

I certainly would not have any issues with buying one to test (and support the parent company S&W) but I have FA DS-750 which has .1 gr resolution along with Gemini-20 which has .02 gr resolution and both have been verified accurate and consistent to +/- .1 gr for DS-750 and ~+/- .02 gr for Gemini-20 with Ohaus check weights down to 1 mg/.015 gr.

With two Ohaus 10-10 beam scales, I am quite content and do not feel the need to buy another .1 gr resolution digital scale.

My Frankford scale came in yesterday.
It is packed in a nice plastic case like a quality pistol
Unit is 5" x 8" deep--it is not small
Numbers are 5/8" high--very easy to read from an angle.
Mine came with 4 batteries & an elect plug ( cord is only about 3' )
I measured 50 rounds @ 7 gr---reading was instant--no running up or down.
If I dump powder in a pile on pan I gut 6.9 gr----If I pour powder around in pan I get 7 gr
Trickling is slow to read unless you tilt pan.
All in all I am going to love this unit -- worth the money.
I did get 20 some years out of my other digital

I have the FA DS750. For the most part, Frankford Arsenal has impressed me with their designs that fill a need and work. The DS750 is no different. If I am checking something for weight- I use a RCBS check weight set, and found that the DS750 was always on.

@MAD DAWG
I HAVE 2 DS-750 ( DIFFERENT BENCHES)
Very accurate little scale
I could not stand them shutting off every 60 seconds
I had to get back to a quality unit that stays on all the time.
On rifle when I measure every load--the 750 had to be replaced.
I also have 2 RCBS 5-0-5 beam scales to keep an eye on the digitals
have a great reloading new year
