I received a mailer from Graf's; they have a promo code (BOOM) that provides free HaxMat on in-stock powder purchases of 4lbs. or more. They have the 8lb. jugs of Alliant powders on sale ($130-140). As always, they have $7.95 fixed-rate shipping.

Where do you put the promo code? I want to order powder and primers but don't see anywhere for the code.

Never mind .I found it.

Thanks for heads up! I reposted in the "Where are there reloading components for sale?" thread - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...ponents-on-sale.707473/page-166#post-10908132

UPDATE: And Vihtavuori is offering $5 rebate per container (Limit 12 containers) up to $60 by October 15, 2018 - http://media.campaigner.com/media/55/554770/2018/081618/vihtavuori_rebate_form.pdf

Good prices on popular powders. Ends 8/29/18.

Promo $112 / 8 lbs - https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/product/productId/5528

If you are not familiar with Promo, it is same burn rate as Red Dot and I have used Red Dot load data by weight (not volume) with good results. It WAS large flake powder with irregular size that metered with .2-.4 gr variance but was recently reformulated with regular granule size and NOW meters with less than .2 gr for me.

Promo is my general purpose/plinking load powder that produces accurate pistol and carbine loads in 9mm and 45ACP (it is too snappy for 40S&W) - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...n-9mm-40s-w-45acp.799231/page-3#post-10245856

IMR Target $124 / 8 lbs - https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/product/productId/74238

If you are not familiar with Target, it is fast burning (around Titegroup - W231/HP-38/Sport Pistol) medium sized flake powder that produced very good accuracy for me - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...-and-vectan-ba-9-5-ba-9.817796/#post-10508215

Titegroup $129 / 8 lbs - https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/product/productId/5599

Clays $136 / 8 lbs - https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/product/productId/5564

CFE Pistol $143 / 8 lbs - https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/product/productId/27387

HP-38 (Same as W231) $144 / 8 lbs - https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/product/productId/5594

WST $145 / 8 lbs - https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/product/productId/19741

Universal $146 / 8 lbs - https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/product/productId/5630

WSF $147 / 8 lbs - https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/product/productId/19735

TAC $158 / 8 lbs - https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/product/productId/16662

I didn't notice the banner on their site, but they are offering 10% off on ALL 8lb. jugs of smokeless powder.

Their normal Haz-Mat is only $10 so I just order all my powder from them when I get low.

Yes, their $10 hazmat rocks. Free - even better. :)

I also don't worry too much about $10; it's less than the markup and sales tax I spend if I buy locally. But for those that buy in bulk, 10% off 8lb. jugs, free haz and unlimited 7.95 shipping adds up to a really good deal. Even though I'm only buying 5lbs., I appreciate Graf's doing their best by us.

It's the second item on their banner

Where was this sale when I wanted to buy one pound of each W244, W572, IMR4451 and a few other newer powders I wanted to try. It would have cost me less than going to Cabelas and buying them.

I hear you. Seems like there's always a better deal just down the road. If I had a Cabela's I could walk into and buy the desired powders off the shelf, I probably would have if the cost was in any way reasonable. The package from Graf's does have to be signed for, which is a PITA.

Just the same, as Patocazador pointed out, it would only be $10 more without the promo. But free just has a nice ring to it. :)

Anytime I can save a buck I’m happy just ordered 4 lb powder and a brick of primers

Does Graf's supply a tracking number when an item ships?

They don't even send you an email that the order has shipped, at least they didn't to me. I ordered Monday and had a note on my door that Fed-ex had tried to deliver it today. If I had known i could have been here.

I called them. They told me when my order would be delivered and provided a tracking number. Need to sign for powder so I am glad I called. They should send a email so you know the items have been shipped, and provide the tracking number.
