You get what you pay for.
Avoid Tula like the plague. I bought a case of that ammo and have had nothing but problems with it out of multiple PSA AR15's and a S&W AR15. The case heads are soft and get torn off 1st shot out of the rifle. You then need a cleaning rod to get the fired cartridge out of the chamber.
These same rifles work just fine with Barnaul and Wolf Steel Case 223 & 5.56.
When the U.S.A. thirsts, China will sell.
Tula 223 is garbage, look for Wolf or Barnaul! Had a case of Tula that had undersized bullets, and it also stuck in all my rifles.
This thread gives me a little pause regarding Freedom Munitions. Granted, there are many things which could cause those troubles and not all of them can be laid at the feet of the manufacturer, but...
I don’t know if you realized this but the same guy started both that thread and this one
I got remanufactured 62 grain, 223 at 39.15 cents each. Will be fine for range fodder. Took about 7 days to get it
Yeah, they would probably have to give “the big guy” MORE than 10% off the top!
A friend of mine is a friend of the guy that owns black dot. Apparently, he loads the ammo and sells the majority of it to his range customers, so negative feedback would lead straight back to him pretty quickly.
I`ve shot PMC 55grain .223 FMJ and Black Dot reman. .223 55grain VMax out of my Savage 110. At least in my gun, the Black Dot is far superior in both accuracy and precision at 100 yards. That`s most likely due to the VMax bullets I suppose. No misfires or other function failures with the Black Dot, though I`ll admit my sample is small at 50 rounds in my first batch from them.
