Hello yall!
I just thought I'd share a ShotKam video highlighting some of the shots I took Friday out on a ranch in Maupin Oregon. I went out with 4 good guys and their furry companions. I had a fun time with the camaraderie, much needed exercise and my 28ga Benelli SBE.
We are all waterfowl hunters that weren't quite ready for the season to end. This was the next best opportunity for us and not a bad way to spend the 2nd day of spring. Next, is fishing unless we decide to go further east for rabbit.

Thanks. I love to watch other people to try to figure out leads. If I ever get a chance to wing shoot again I might suck less.

Very cool and thanks for the great video. I haven't pheasant hunted since 2017 and that was on a private preserve. I miss that stuff, but pheasants are almost non-existent around here nowadays. When I was a kid the fields around me were loaded with them and I could scare some up just walking across the field to my friend's house. We used to play "pheasant hunter" after flushing one that you almost stepped on by swinging our imaginary shotguns toward it and yelling "BANG !".

Thanks for the kind words and the great story Rem!

Great video! Thank you! To pheasant hunt in Ohio, we pretty much need to go to a DNR release or a game farm. It’s still my favorite hunt and I don’t have a dog that hunts, so it works for me.

My pleasure! There definitely isn't the population there once was here in Oregon either. I'm guessing it's pretty much the same all over. Just to much predation from us humans and less habitat for them to evade us & keep their numbers up. Factor in all the natural predators and they don't have much of a chance. They're originally from China anyway so there's that. It's still a good time to go out with friends and hunt the farm birds on occasion and it sure helps the young pups!
