I think that the recent Hornady offering of Frontier 223 is different from their Frontier of 10 years ago.(?)

Are the 2019 cartridges constructed well enough to reload in 223? Is anyone having good experiences?

You're gonna need to ream or swage the primer pockets as both the NATO and 223 Rem ammo uses a ring for primer retention. The primers decap easily enough but I mangled a bunch of primers trying to seat them. I hate brass prep but I've got a few thousand in the rough on hand as "just in case" brass.

I bought one box of each bullet weight. The brass was excellent for reloading. The ammo itself was terrible.

I have reloaded over 1000 of these. They work great but like Orcon said

. It is a pain to do every pocket!
